Complete curved fishhook point. Small. External notches on side of base, Internal barb.
Complete patu onewa, with no tau. Drill perforation present. Butt has ornamental grooves across top. Blade smooth and in very good condition with one very small bruised chip on one edge.
Plaster cast of complete of minnow shank with a triangular cross section. It has a perforation through the head and one notch on either side of the head at the bottom of the head. The base has notches across the flat side of the shank. Cast of D27.1054
Complete adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Slightly flaked on poll. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, tapering towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and straight, though heavily chipped. Present on front and back; Purakanui.
Complete Trapezoidal blade, Plano-convex (back flattened) butt cross-section. Front of blade is heavily bruised around the poll portion, with minor bruising around the rest of blade. Large flake scar at bevel. Back of blade is bruised with small flake scars on left and right sides. Differentiation between blade and butt. Shoulder is slightly pronounced on blade. Reduction in shoulder is not that significant. Bevel is continuous on blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved.
Broken adze (blade remaining). Stone. Black, light brown. Cross-section is oval. Surface of front and back are ground, bruised on sides. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. Nugget Pt. written on back.
complete Roughly rectangular blade becoming oval at the butt. Narrowing in the side towards the poll. The surface is ground. Minor differentiation between the blade and the butt, with slight reduction on the butt. The bevel is curved and demarcated by a visible ridge. The cutting edge is curved, oblique and sharp.
Complete argillite knife. Surface is grounded on both sides. Cutting edge is sharp and rounded, wth bevel on both surfaces. Haft end is curved.
Complete adze. Black and brown stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground with bruising and flaking particularly on the proper left side and around the butt. Front and proper left side are reduced; sides are tapered towards the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is slightly oblique and has been ground into a flat, blunt end. "Flag Swamp" inscription.
Complete adze. Black stone. Surface is ground. Cross-section is circular. No differentiation between butt and blade. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp, with a large flake missing from proper right side. "Flag Swamp" inscription.
Broken adze, butt remaining. Cross-section is oval. Surface is bruised. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced at shoulder. Repaired break in butt. Blade not present.
