Complete adze. Cross-section is triangular (apex towards front). Surface is ground on the blade. Small patches of bruising on both sides adjacent to blade, the rest is flaked. No differentiation between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, blade is sharp and curved.

Complete adze. Stone. Mid grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground, with bruising on left and around poll on back. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front edges reduced. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, one chip mid cutting edge. "Shag River" written on front.

Complete adze. Rectangular cross-section The surface is ground. There is major differentiation between the butt and the blade, the sides taper to a point at the poll. The bevel is demarcated by a line. The cutting edge is sharp, curved and lightly chipped.

Complete unfinished adze Trapezoidal cross section, back narrower than front. The surface is flaked, ground and chipped. There is on differentiation between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper towards the poll. The bevel is continuous. The cutting edge is sharp, curved and heavily chipped.

Complete adze. Stone. Mid green. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground down front and back, bruising on sides. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, reduction on proper left side. Sides taper towards cutting edge, butt wider than blade. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. "Shag R" written on back. "Surface Central midden" written on back.

Broken adze (blade remaining). Cross-section is rectangular. Back is flaked except for the cutting edge, which is ground. Front is also mostly flaked except for a small ground patch on the proper right side. Both sides of the blade are ground. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade, blade is sharp and curved, chipped. broken (bevel and small section of blade are present) rectangular, appears to thicken front to back from cutting edge towards the poll The surface is ground, with some bruising. Butt is not present. The bevel is flat, and distinguishable from the blade by a clear ridge. The cutting edge is oblique and sharp.

Complete stone chisel. The surface is lightly ground. The blade is short, coming to the peaked butt in line with the bevel. The bevel is demarked by a straight line. The cutting edge is straight and sharp with chipping to both corners.

Rough out Cross-section is undeterminable The surface is flaked and bruised. No distinction between the blade and the butt. No distinction between the blade and the butt.
