Unfinished needle, manufactured from hollow bone. Distal end is sharp. There is no eye at the proximal end, some chipping.
Complete needle, manufactured from hollow bone. Distal end is sharp. There is a visible repair at the midpoint of the needle, where previously broken. There is a large, rough eye near the proximal end.
Complete needle, manufactured from hollow bone. Distal end is sharp. There is no eye at the proximal end, which is chipped.
Unfinished needle, manufactured from hollow bone. Distal end is sharp, no eye at proximal end.
Complete albatross awl. The proximal end is flattened. The distal end is sharpened to a sharp point. Towards the proximal end two perforations that do not bisect the whole bone. The two perforations are seperated by a paper sticker with frilled edges.

Rākau o te riri
Complete patu paraoa. Surface is weathered and cracked. Knob at the butt with a projection on one side and a slight indentation on the other. The centre of the handle has two notches on each side. The portion of the handle between these notches and the blade bows out slightly, with diagonal incised marks on the front. Pronounced shoulders where the handle meets the blade.
