He kura
Complete pendant made from a whale tooth. Curved to a point at the distal end. Surface is worn and in poor condition. Proximal end is squared off with a suspension hole at one corner, drilled from both sides. Evidence of broken projections running along the external edge.
Broken curved bone pendant, distal end remaining. Has been broken in two pieces in the centre and glued back together.

Complete curved bone pendant. On one end, there is a suspension hole which has a small piece broken off.
Mahi whakairo
Complete adze. Dark grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. No differentiation between butt and blade; side and back of butt taper toward the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp. "Anderson's Bay" inscription. Attached sticker reads "John White Collection".
Adze roughout, broken in two and glued back together. Grey stone. Surface is bruised. Cross-section is lenticular. No differentiation between butt and blade. Bevel is unfinished. Cutting edge is straight and ground flat. "Anderson's Bay" inscription. Two attached stickers read "John White Collection" and "Found at Anderson's Bay. The big piece was picked up about 9 months after the small one."

Broken patu onewa, part of mid-blade remaining. Broken at either end. Cross-section is lenticular.
Complete bone pendant. Slightly curved with suspension hole at proximal end.
Complete shell pendant. Suspension hole and slightly tapered at the proximal end. Edges have been reduced. Concave profile. Naturally-occurring ridges on both sides.
Broken bone pendant, upper portion remaining. Straight with suspension hole at proximal end. Some pink discoloration on the surface.

Circular shell pendant with suspension hole in the centre. White iridescent colour. Concave profile.
