Bone comb. Broken at various points on the teeth and glued back together; proper right tooth is incomplete. Head is square with a small rounded projection on one side edge at the proximal end. Surface is smooth with polishing marks evident. Back side has a horizontal sawing mark visible above the teeth and on the side of the left tooth.
Bone hei matau (fishhook pendant). Previously broken in several pieces and glued back together. Drilled suspension hole at proximal end. Barbed point, small part broken off at the tip and the barb.
Piece of worked bone, possibly a fragment of a comb. Knobbed projection on one end, rounded with notches at the base. Straight and tapered to the other end, which is broken.
Broken bone pendant in three pieces. Straight with suspension hole.
Complete bone pendant. Kinked in two places down the shaft. Broken suspension hole.
Complete slightly curved bone pendant with a suspension hole at the proximal end.
Piece of worked pounamu, possibly a pendant. Lenticular cross section and shape (tapered at each end). Surface is ground with a large piece broken off on one side. "Anderson's Bay." inscription. Attached sticker reads "John White Collection"
Wooden heru with twenty teeth tied with muka fibre at the head in a diamond-shaped pattern. The two external teeth are larger than the others; one of the teeth has a curved protruding piece at the head (broken on the other side). Wood is polished smooth.
Broken bone comb, portions of teeth broken. Three teeth remaining. Proximal end is squared off. Surface is smooth with sawing marks on the back between the teeth.
Broken bone comb, head and two teeth remaining. Proximal end is rounded with a slightly oblique edge. Side edges are straight. Cross section is concave. Two out of the four teeth have broken off. Sawing marks are evident on both sides above the broken teeth.
Worked bone with curved grooves carved on one side. Broken along one edge with small piece broken off and glued back on. Concave profile.
Broken bone pendant. Proximal end is squared off with a suspension hole drilled from each side. Distal end is curved to a point.
