Complete patu paraoa. The butt of the Patu is missing a chunk of bone, the underside there is a large amount of bone missing from the edge and from the top of the blade. On the bottom edge blade of the Patu is serrated.

Complete patu onewa, with no tau. Drill perforation present. Butt has ornamental grooves across the top and blade has a chip on both edges. There is minor scratching on the blade.

Complete patu onewa. Ornamental grooves around the butt. Drilled perforation on the handle. Blade is chipped along the bottom edge.

Broken cast of a patu, blade remaining. Painted dark brown. Cross section is rectangular with rounded edges on the blade and rounded at the handle. Geometric carvings and spirals cover blade; remaining portion of the handle is undecorated.

Broken patu onewa, most of blade and handle remaining. Drill mark in an hourglass shape at the butt, where there was once a perforation. Broken on one side and on blade edge.

Complete patu paraoa. The butt has a circular perforation with lines carved below this. The patu has a portion missing from the butt and side of blade.
