Whakarite kai
Broken harpoon head, medial portion remaining. The proximal end of the base is broken, with a notch. The lower side of the shaft is reduced where the shaft meets the head. There is one large barb. There is a large perforation through the head. The tip is broken off.
Broken sinker, one end and part of each side missing, with deep transverse lashing groove.
Complete scraper. Top edge is flat and wider than the lower edge. There are two shallow notches at the top, from which curved sides flare out and round to the cutting edge, which is very fine. The cutting edge is chipped.
Kete woven from undyed harakeke (flax). This kete has been woven initially as a flat piece in a takirua (over two, under two) pattern, with the base being woven together after the initial weaving. The kete was then inverted to hide the base join internally. It has been finished with a tapiki (finish) where the whenu have been folded internally before being trimmed. X2 four ply round whiri (braids) have been introduced to act as handles.

Unfinished fishhook point, sharp at both ends with a slight curve to one side, there is a small notch for a barb along the straight edge.
Complete slate knife. Surface is grounded on one side and bruised on the other. Cutting edge is sharp and chipped, with bevel on both surfaces. Haft is flat.
