Repaired sinker with faint transverse lashing groove.
Complete sinker with shallow transverse lashing groove.
Wooden adze haft. Surface is polished smooth. Handle is round in cross section, with a platform at the distal end running perpendicular to the handle. Groove cut in platform with plaited flax tied around and attached to handle.
Unfinished harpoon head with single barb and bifid base. Cross-section is oval. Missing perforation through centre, barb and tip unsharpened.
A variation of a konae, a two cornered bag made with an even number of whenu (strands) from a folded square base. Woven with natural harakeke in a takirua (over two, under two) pattern. An irregular tapiki (finish) has been used and secured with a row of whatu aho patahi (single-pair weft-twining) and whatu aho rua (two-pair weft-twining). A muka cord has then been threaded through to create a pouch.
Broken sinker, fragment missing on one side, with very faint transverse lashing groove.
Complete argilite knife. Cutting edge is sharp and chipped. Surface is ground at distal end and the rest bruised, flaked at haft and one lateral margin. Bevel is present at lateral margins.
