Complete adze. Stone. Mid green. Cross-section of butt is oval, cross-section of blade is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface is ground down front of blade and back, bruised on sides and butt. Major differentiation between butt and blade, front and sides reduced forming shoulder. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. "St Clair" written on front. Stickers on back reads "Found at St Clair." and "Dr. Hocken's Collection."
