Complete adze. Trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. The surface is ground with flaking on the poll, the proper left of the back and the proper right side of the back. Butt undifferentiated. The bevel is demarcated with a strong angular line, and strong lines down the sides. The blade is smooth, curved and sharp with some flaking on the proper left corner. Straight sawing marks down the proper right side of the back.

Nephrite/pounamu hei tiki, kawakawa variety, dark green. Scarve cuts across top of head below top knot through which holes bored from both sides in top knot, chip on rear of head one side. Head turned to right with intricate facial features. Grooves along sides of torso. Perforations at arms and legs. Arms rest on thighs. Legs meet at the centre with three toes.
