Partially complete patu onewa or adze, with all remaining except butt of handle and top of blade. Cut mark at neck of handle, and wear present around edges. Paint speckles present on one side.

Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground on front of blade and back. Surface is bruised on sides and front of butt. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, front slightly reduced. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. Kokonga written on front and back.

Broken adze. Stone. Light grey, mid brown, dark brown. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Black accretion on front. Butt not present, but sides start to taper before break. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is blunt and heavily chipped. "Kokonga" written twice on back and once on front.
