Adze roughout. Mid grey in colour. Surface is flaked. Cross section is irregular. Sides taper to the poll. Cutting edge is unfinished. There are possibly remnants of red ochre/kokowai on the blade.
Adze roughout. Dark grey in colour. Cross section is irregular. Surface is flaked. Large flake broken off at the back of the butt and at the back of the blade (bevel is not present). Tapers to the poll. Cutting edge is straight and chipped.
Reconstructed silcrete core with individual blades and flakes glued back together. Light grey and light brown in colour.

Complete kahu kiwi (kiwi feather cloak). Flax body in whatu rua, 2 pair twining, aho 1cm apart, whenu - 5 per cm. Covered with brown kiwi feathers, groups of 3 feathers worked into both rows of twining. Twisted muka fibre border and ties at the top.
