Adze roughout. The c ross section is approximately rectangular. The surface is flaked. The butt is undifferentiated. There is no bevel and the cutting edge is blunt.
Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section is oval. Surface of sides is ground, all other surfaces are bruised. Major differentiation between butt and blade, with a raised ridge separating the two. Front reduced after ridge, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a ridge. Cutting edge is sharp and curved. Large chip mid cutting edge.
Complete adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground except for flaking on front and back of butt end. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line. Cutting edge is straight and sharp.

Complete pounamu pendant. Dark green and black takiwai variety. Surface is polished. Chisel-shaped with rectangular cross section. Proximal end has a suspension hole drilled from both sides and the proximal edge is rounded. Distal end is bevelled on both sides, each demarcated by a line, with a straight edge.
complete oval cross-section Bruised surface There is an indent in the proper right side possibly marking where the blade meets the butt, but it is smooth on the proper left side. The blade and cutting edge are relatively symmetrical. The bevel has a narrow band of texture at the cutting edge that is smoother than the blade
Taoka Maori, Archaeology
Complete adze. Light green and black pounamu. Surface is ground. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with the back narrower than the front. Some reduction near the poll, particularly on the proper right side. Sides and back are slightly tapered toward the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a straight line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp. "Leith St Nr. Hanover St. Dunedin" inscription.
Partial patu onewa, no perforation present. Blade portion and handle present. Blade is smooth and tapered towards handle/butt end, with some light bruising present. Light chipping on edges.
Complete pekapeka pendant. Mid-green and light grey pounamu. Surface is polished. Two bird heads represented on the right and left side edges. Necks and bodies spiral toward each other in the centre of the pendant, creating several perforations.
Broken patu onewa, handle and small part of blade remaining. Drilled perforation and ornamental grooves on butt.
