Complete adze. Sandstone. Light grey, light brown. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Brown staining on back near bevel. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, oblique. "Taieri." written on back.

Complete sandstone file. Light brown. Surface is ground. Tapered to the distal end.

Complete adze. Grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Butt is differentiated from the blade by a straight ridge on the front. Sides of the butt are tapered toward the poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade with a concave indentation. Cutting edge is curved and blunt. Attached sticker reads "found on Summit of Signal Hill near ruined whare. 26.12.15. SM--. Had I a tongue what tales I could tell of whakas and Kaitangatas: te nagui". Another attached sticker reads "Kanuita-u Te Aroho Kea Koi"
