Complete piupiu. Garment made from flax, scraped and unscraped, dyed (black, gold) and undyed (natural). Tags fall from various levels of kaupapa. Tags have scraped and unscraped sections forming a pattern of 4 horizontal bands across skirt. All unscraped sections are incised with cuts, some horizontal, some diagonal, some with criss-cross pattern. Kaupapa is approx. 230mm long with 17 weft rows (black) of single pair twining. Waistband has 4 weft rows (3 natural, 1 gold) of double pair twining. Top of waistband is 3 ply plait from warp extensions of kaupapa. Ties at each end are extensions of 3 ply plait. One has gold and natural flax fibre worked into it, and is knotted in several places.

Complete mere pounamu. Inaka section crosses diagonally from one side to the other on blade with kahurangi pounamu extending to proximal end. Dark green, mid-yellow, and black in colour. Surface is polished. Six grooves at butt with perforated hole drilled from both sides. Both edges of hole slightly inset. String looped through hole and tied.

A model of a hoe (waka paddle). Dark brown wood. Handle is worked smooth with a knob on the butt and an oval cross-section. Blade of the paddle is diamond-shaped with a half-circular cross-section. Blade is carved with a rauponga (ridges and notches) pattern on one side and a koru pattern on the other side.

Complete taiaha. Wooden surface is smooth and polished. Double-sided human face carved at the proximal end. Face has a protruding tongue, geometric shapes on lips and forehead, slanted eyes. Distal end of the blade is rounded.

Complete chisel. Cross-section is trapezoidal with back narrower than front. Surface is ground, with small patches of bruising. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is sharp and curved, with chips missing along cutting edge.

Burnt ivory pendant, broken at each end. Curved with drill mark at the proximal end, indicating a broken suspension hole.

Complete adze Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is sharp and straight.

Broken pounamu pendant, proximal end remaining. Dark green and black. Circular cross section. Surface is ground smooth. A piece was previously broken off and glued back together. Reduction at the proximal end, with a suspension hole and a rounded edge.

Complete kahawai lure. Curved wooden shank with notches at head and base for lashings. White iridescent shell inlay, broken near the centre. Muka lashings at head and base. Twisted cord attached at head with a nail sticking out of the cord. Some feathers attached to muka at the base. Curved bone point with internal barb.

Complete whakawae. Features two human figures, one standing on top of the other. The top figure is larger, with paua shell inlay eyes and his tongue sticking out. His hands rest on his stomach. The lower figure has a horizontal head featuring paua shell inlay eyes. Parts of his body have been rubbed smooth from touching. His right leg has been previously broken off, and there is a visible repair with glue and nails.

Complete korotete (holding basket for live eels), made of woven vines. Two loops at the base and two near the top. Woven vine lid with handle fits on tapered top.

Broken silcrete blade that has the terminal portion present. It is dark grey and light grey in colour. There is significant unifacial retouching on the proper left lateral margin of the dorsal surface and on the proper right lateral margin of the ventral surface.

Broken patu onewa, handle remaining. Butt has two rounded knobs at top with points that face inward. Faint half-circular decorative grooves from top to sides where butt meets the handle. Drilled perforation. One notched knob remains where handle meets the blade.

Broken bone pendant, broken at the proximal end on one side. Broken suspension hole. Slightly curved and tapered toward a point at the distal end.
