letter, 12/09/1933, H D Skinner to Victor Fisher Auckland War Memorial Museum, Fisher's registrar has been in contact discussing arrangements about Fisher's examination for terms, October 10th being decided as the best date. Fisher will have the same paper as his other students and then he lists the books for the paper. He then goes on to discuss the collection and the new additions of a feather-box containing 70 huia feathers, 20 tiny bundles of scarlet kaka feathers, and a series of Cook Island adzes.

Returning Rennel Island shark-hook and tapa beater as they are almost identical to those currently in collection. Expresses interest in specimens from Fisher's excavations. Discusses potential for Buck's presence at 1937 meeting, and suggests securing papers from Kenneth Emory and John F.G. Stokes (Hawaii),Teviotdale and Dr. Margaret Mead. Notes that he has received a Carnegie grant and will be leaving New Zealand on 14 December.
