Mr Kennedy is a highly regarding ethnographer. 3rd paragraph - asking about Dr Gowlands movements and Keesing and ethnology work in New Zealand. 4th paragraph - regarding Skinners archaeological work, seems to be looking for signs of other cultures other than Polynesian.
