Silcrete flake. Mid grey and light grey in colour. Cortex present on one surface.

Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section of blade is trapezoidal, back narrower than front. Cross-section of butt is oval. Surface is ground, sides of butt bruised. Major differentiation between butt and blade. Sides heavily reduced, but flare out again at poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved.

Complete taiaha. Wooden surface is smooth and polished. Human faces carved at the proximal end on both sides. Protruding tongue carved with rauru (spiral and notch) pattern. Eyes are slanted and convex hallows, with a paua shell inlay intact in one. Handle and blade are relatively narrow, slightly flared and rounded at the base.

Complete tewhatewha. Surface is worked smooth with cutting marks evident on the blade. Perforation at the base of the blade, with a piece of twisted fibre through it, knotted at both ends. Face carving about halfway down the handle on both sides. Remnants of wax in eye sockets. Tapered at the base.

Complete tewhatewha. Chicken feathers are attached to the rapa (head). No other whakairo present. The opposite end tapers to a mata (point).

Complete taiaha. Proximal end carved with human face on each side. Paua shell inlay remaining in one eye. Protruding tongue has a rauru (double spiral with notches) pattern. Relatively narrow blade.

Complete adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved.

Complete adze (still quite rough, but not quite a roughout) Cross-section is rectangular. Surface of front is bruised, flaked on back. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, tapering towards poll. Bevel and cutting edge unfinished. Cutting edge as it is is blunt and curved.

Complete adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, tapering towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and curved.

Complete adze Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, tapering towards poll. Bevel continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved.

Complete adze. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground, till the poll end of butt where surface becomes flaked. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, reduced on proper left side, notch chipped on front proper right side. Bevel continuous with blade. Cutting edge is curved, angled towards proper right and sharp.
