Fishhook tab. Partially manufactured fishhook point.
Complete kekeno (fur seal) scapula. Three broken notches are evident on the edge of the bone.
Piece of worked wood, use unknown. Surface is dessicated and sandy. One side appears to have a ridge running lengthwise with two flat worked planes on either side.
Piece of worked wood, use unknown. Surface is very worn and cracked. Charred at one end. There appears to be an indentation on one side, near the charred end, but it's unclear whether this is natural or man-made.
Piece of wood, possibly worked, use unknown. Tapered at one end. Surface is heavily dessicated and charred throughout. Very sandy with roots attached.
Antiquities
Broken straight fishhook point, mid and base remaining. Notches at external base.
Whakarite kai
Complete sinker with very faint transverse lashing grooves at each end, extending across half of each side.
Rock flake. Dark red and mid red in colour. Unifacial retouching on both lateral margins.
