letter, 07/06/1935, J.L.Simcox to H.D. Skinner, Regarding Simcox's collection which he does not wish to depart with yet. Simcox discusses bone and stone reels. Simcox sketched a bone point and mentions Otatara but the writing is illegible. Also sketched in the letter was a comb. Simcox discusses news about Norman Potts however the writing is illegible.

letter, 27/04/1935, H.D. Skinner to J.L.Simcox, Skinner asks Simcox to give the museum his collections as the Science Congress was coming up and there was a gap in information. Also as Simcox's collection is a mix of Otago and another district which many migrated from to Otago which would be interesting for many people to see.

letter, 29/06/1935, H.D. Skinner to George Simpson, Discussing the Membership Campaign Committee which Simpson and Mr. Scott are members. Skinner asks Simpson to look over two drafts that himself and Dr. Hercus created to teach the commercial class.

letter, 23/03/1935, H.D. Skinner to Mrs. A.J.L. Simpson, Skinner apologises for his assistant, Mr. David Teviotdale, who did not visit her collections when he was on D'Urville Island as he did not know about them. Skinner then refers to a letter sent on December 18th explaining that the offer for her collections still stands.

letter, 19/03/1935, H.D. Skinner to Mr R. Guy Sinclair , Skinner asks Sinclair for a cabinet sized portrait of his father in his later years to be displayed next to others who also performed great services to the museum.

letter, 22/01/1934, H.D.Skinner to Mr Skinner, H.D.Skinner forwards two Geological Survey Bulletins of Central Otago and Cromwell, both concerned with the Wanaka district. A letter from Mr. Teviotdale informed H.D.Skinner that the trip was not going successfully. The feather box from Muirhead arrived and he sent out the Science Congress notices. H.D.Skinner informs Mr Skinner that his leave will be up on the 2nd of February but if he is needed then Miss Daff knows his address.

letter, no date , Otago University Museum, Dunedin to Takaharu Takamatsu, Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan, Exchange list of items, numbered, named and place found listed. For example: D.32.520 worked greenstone Omihi. List includes fish threaders from Otago.

letter, 12/11/1934, Dr. Griffith Taylor, Department of Geography, University of Chicago to H.D. Skinner, New Co-editor of "Journal of Racial Anthropology" with Prof. Dr. E. Frhr. Von Eickstedt, where his field of survey will be Oceania. Asks Skinner to send reprints of his published papers alongside a list of data, so they can be published in the new journal.

letter, 14/03/1935, H.D. Skinner to H Chapman, Registrar University of Otago, Thanks for you letter regarding Downes being to blame for the delayed cheque. I have written him about it.
