Requests information about sources for anthropological films as the museum would like to establish a small library of films. The New Zealand Science Congress will be held in Dunedin in May, 1935 and hopes that films may be shown at public lectures then.

Suggests that the figure head is probably the work of a Taranaki carver and secured from Maori at Waikanae or Otaki. Regrets he will not be able to visit Scotland.
