Oliver Dominion Museum and Gilbert Archey. Notes that money may be available for 6 months employment in Dunedin via a grant received. Skinner mentions that he has been appointed curator following the resignation of Dr. Benham.

letter, 07/11/1936, H D Skinner to Robert Kerr, Royal Scottish Museum, Edinburgh , Discusses photographs received. Mentions that the photograph of the fish-hooks and tiki is not clear enough for publication and requests another copy. Notes that the tiki is of 'exceptional interest.' Skinner reports that he has sent photo of the poi bowl to Drury Low in Mauke to secure notes for publication in the Journal of the Polynesian Society. Will send Maori exchange material in about 2 months.
