Mr Fels has been lucky with 2 Marquessan clubs, a stilt step, 2 ear ornaments, 2 wooden Easter Isalnd figures, a run of Tongan clubs, a hei-tiki in addition to the double one he showed you, 2 feather boxes, 2 Manihiki models, a surgical knife and a fishing tackle box.

Suggests visiting Professor Beyer of Manilla University for information of the associate stone adze culture that spread from S.W. Chiina.

They are an account of the Museum's carved house, one on Maori amulets, and the third a detailed classification of Maori adzes. They will be followed by the treatment of Moriori and Cook Island adzes.
