Major differentiation between butt and blade, sides reduced. Bevel is only ground across middle, unfinished on proper right and left sides, cutting edge is sharp and curved, chipped. "Waitaki" written on front.

Complete adze. Cross-sections is rectangular. Surface is ground on bevel, proper left and front, flaked on back and proper right. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved. "Waitaki" written on front.

Broken adze (lower blade remaining). Stone. Cross-section is oval. Surface is ground except for broken edges. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp and curved.

Complete roughout. Cross-section is oval. Surface is flaked. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel is demarcated by a line, but unfinished. Cutting edge is sharp and straight, unfinished. "Waitaki" written on back, "W" written on front and back.

Complete adze. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is partially ground on back and front, with bruising across back and butt. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and straight, oblique, chipped towards proper right side of cutting edge.

Complete adze. Rectangular. Surface is flaked. Butt has minor differentiation; sides taper slightly. Bevel demarcated by slightly curved line. Cutting edge is straight, blunt and uneven.

Complete adze. Rectangular Surface is flaked. Butt has minor differentiation; sides and front have been reduced and shoulders are slightly raised. Bevel demarcated by a curved line. Cutting edge is straight, uneven and flaked.

Complete adze. Oval at poll; rectangular at blade. Surface is bruised and flaked. Butt has major differentiation; sides have been reduced and shoulders are raised. Bevel demarcated with faint ridge. Cutting edge is smooth, sharp and straight.

Complete adze. Oval at poll; plano-convex at blade with front flattened. Surface is ground with intermittent flaking. Butt has minor differentiation; sides are tapered slightly. Bevel continuous with blade. Cutting edge is sharp, straight and angled.

Incomplete adze. Rectangular Surface is ground, with flaking on the back. Butt not present. Bevel has been flaked away.

Incomplete adze. Rectangular at poll, lenticular at break. Surface is ground with intermittent flaking. Butt has minor differentiation; sides are tapered slightly. Bevel and cutting edge not present.

Complete adze. Rectangular/asymmetrical. Surface is bruised and flaked. Butt has minor differentiation; sides are tapered. Bevel demarcated by a faint straight ridge. Cutting edge straight, uneven and chipped.
