Complete adze. Grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground on the back and flaked on the front. Minor differentiation between the butt and blade; sides slightly tapered toward the poll. Bevel is continous with the blade. Cutting edge is slightly curved and straight, but flaked. "Papanui" inscription.
