Complete sinker with faint transverse lashing groove

Complete adze. Grey stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is mostly bruised. Differentiation between the butt and the blade; sides are tapered toward the poll. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is curved and sharp but flaked. "Papanui" inscription.

Split silcrete blade, split along the right lateral margin. Dark grey and mid grey in colour. Bifacial retouch on the left lateral margin. Cortex on the termination point.

Broken silcrete blade, proximal portion remaining. Mid grey and dark grey in colour. Cortex on the right side of the dorsal surface. Bifacial retouch on both lateral margins.

Complete silcrete blade. Mid red and mid yellow in colour. Unifacial retouch on the ventral surface of the left lateral margin.

Split silcrete blade, split at proximal end on the ventral surface. Light grey and light yellow in colour. Unifacial retouch on the ventral surface of the left lateral margin. Unifacial retouch on the dorsal surface of the right lateral margin. Cortex present at the proximal end on both surfaces.

Broken silcrete blade, proximal portion remaining. Light grey and dark grey in colour. Bifacial retouch on the left lateral margin. Unifacial retouch on the ventral surface of the right lateral margin.

Broken silcrete blade, proximal portion remaining. Mid yellow in colour. Bifacial retouch on the left lateral margin. Unifacial retouch on the ventral surface of the right lateral margin.

Mostly complete and split silcrete blade, split on the left lateral margin, both striking platform and termination point not present. Dark red and light grey in colour. Retouch on the ridge of the right lateral margin.

Split silcrete blade, split on the right lateral margin. Light grey in colour. Unifacial retouch on the ventral surface of the left lateral margin.
