Pachyornis
Almost complete moa femur with mid brown colouration, worn shaft and wear to the high relief areas. Spongy bone has substrate in the crevices.
Right femur of a moa. Some sediment from the collection site is still attached to the specimen.
Left femur of a moa. Some sediment from the collection site is still attached to the specimen.
Right femur of a moa. Both proximal and distal ends are weathered and broken. Sediment from the collection site is still attached to the bone in its distal and proximal extremities.
