Cranium of a moa, woth most of the facial features missing or worn away. Skull is full of sediment, with some sediment coming loose.
Almost complete moa femur with mid brown colouration, worn shaft and wear to the high relief areas. Spongy bone has substrate in the crevices.
Right femur of a moa. Some sediment from the collection site is still attached to the specimen.
Left femur of a moa. Some sediment from the collection site is still attached to the specimen.
Right femur of a moa. Both proximal and distal ends are weathered and broken. Sediment from the collection site is still attached to the bone in its distal and proximal extremities.
Left femur of a moa. Both proximal and distal ends are weathered and broken. Sediment from the collection site is still attached to the bone in its distal and proximal extremities.
Right femur of a coastal moa. Sediment of the collection site is still attached to the bone.
Partial moa pelvis, surface is flaky white and brown.
