Complete adze. Stone. Black, light grey. Cross-section is oval. Surface is bruised on sides, some flaking at poll, ground on all other surfaces. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, heavily chipped. Sticker on back reads "Found at Toiro, South Otago by Mr. William Reed." "Toiro, S Otago" written on front.
