Complete adze. Cross-section is oval. Surface is bruised on back and sides and front of butt. Ground on front blade and bevel. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll, which is very narrow. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. "Hyde" written on front and back.
