Complete adze. Light grey stone. Surface is ground. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Back and sides of the butt are slightly reduced. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is slightly oblique and blunt.

Complete Trapezoidal cross-section with back narrower than front. Front of adze has some grounding around bottom portion with bruising at poll/butt portion. Back of adze has bruising with grounding towards bevel portion. Differentiation between the butt and the blade. Distinct shoulder and a reduction in the stone on the front and sides of the butt. Bevel is demarcated with ridge. Cutting edge is curved and slightly blunt.

Complete patu paraoa. Surface is weathered and cracked. Knob at the butt with a projection on one side and a slight indentation on the other. The centre of the handle has two notches on each side. The portion of the handle between these notches and the blade bows out slightly, with diagonal incised marks on the front. Pronounced shoulders where the handle meets the blade.

Incomplete adze - broken piece with part of the blade. Greenish grey stone. The cross-section is irregular. The surface is flaked with a small ground area on the bevel. There is no butt. What is present of the bevel is continuous with the blade and the cutting edge is sharp.

Patu paraoa is incomplete with handle and butt missing. One side (underside) has exposed and distinct cancellous bone. The opposite side has vertical cracks, cut marks (on an angle) and chipping present over the surface of the blade. Chipping also present around the blades point edge.

Large complete adze. Dark grey stone. Triangular cross-section. The surface is flaked and bruised.The butt is differentiated from the blade by a reduction in the stone on the front, making one distinct shoulder in the centre. The bevel is long and slightly curved, and demarcated by an irregular ridge on the blade. The cutting edge is narrow and blunt. The front of the bevel end of the blade is triangular, shaped by ridges either side. There is some red colouring on the front of the butt.

Complete bone point, distal end sharpened to a point. The sides and proximal end of the point are rough.
