Complete adze Cross-section is trapezoidal, with back narrower than front. Surface of the blade is mostly ground and surface of the butt is bruised and flaked. Differentiation between the butt and blade. Sides are tapered toward the poll and slightly reduced to form shoulder. Bevel is demarcated by a ridge, with a indentation in the centre. Cutting edge is sharp and straight.

Complete needle. Distal end is sharp. Thickness reduced at the proximal end, with a drilled, circular eye.

Complete pounamu adze. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground with flaking on the proper right of the poll. Major differentiation of the poll, with the sides reducing. The bevel is demarcated by a straight line. The cutting edge is curved and blunt. There is a drilled hole on the proper left of the poll.
