Broken adze, blade remaining. Grey and brown stone. Cross-section is trapezoidal, with the back narrower than the front. Surface is ground. Most of butt is not present, but it appears there is some reduction where the butt meets the blade to form a shoulder. Bevel is continuous with the blade. Cutting edge is curved and sharp. "Saddle Hill" inscription. Attached sticker reads "Blythswood, Mosgiel. 6 M[..] Saddle Hill"
