Complete adze. Trapezoidal cross-section. Back narrower than front. The surface is ground with slight bruising on the side at the shoulder, and at the poll. There are saw marks on the proper left side from halfway up the blade portion to the poll. There is major differentiation between the butt and the blade. The front of the blade is reduced to form a squared off shoulder, and the blade tapers towards the poll. There appears to be a raised 'lug' on the proper left side. The bevel is continuous. The cutting edge is sharp, slightly curved and very lightly chipped. Very sharp, squared off shoulder. Very good condition.
