Complete pounamu adze. The cross-section is oval on the butt, becoming trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front on the blade. The surface of the butt is bruised, ground on blade. There is minor differentiation between the butt and the blade, sides and front slightly reduced forming shoulder. The bevel is demarcated by a line, the cutting edge is sharp and curved, slightly chipped.
