Complete adze. Black and brown stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is bruised. No differentiation between butt and blade; sides are tapered towards the poll. Bevel is demarcated by two lines. Cutting edge is slightly curved and a blunt, flat end. "Maungatua" inscription.
