Incomplete adze, blade and bevel end only. Trapezoidal cross-section with the back narrower than the front. The surface is ground, bruised and flaked. There is a reduction in the stone on the front of the butt just before the broken edge. The bevel is made from flake scars and ends in a blunt irregular cutting edge. There is a partially removed piece of paper on the back that reads: "From Lake Wanak- given by Rukitap- - Port Molyneux" and another on the proper right side of the blade that reads: "Dr Hocken's Collection."

Complete Trapezoidal cross-section with back narrower than front Front of blade is ground with small flake scars. Back of blade is also ground with distinct flake scar at poll portion, as-well as small deep flake scar on the right side. No differentiation between blade and butt. Blade slightly tapers in towards poll portion though. Bevel is continuous on blade. Cutting edge is straight but slightly on an angle and sharp.

Back of blade is very bruised with deep flakes at poll portion. No differentiation between butt and blade, however the blade tapers in slightly towards poll. Bevel is demarcated with a distinct large ridge. Cutting edge is irregular/on a angle and very blunt. Just to note - the adze is really huge.

Complete Mostly rectangular except for slightly rounded proper right side. The surface is predominantly ground with significant flaking and some bruising. Minor differentiation between the butt and the blade, slight reduction from the blade on the front. Bevel is distinguishable from the blade by a slight triangular line of bruising, bevel slightly concave.
