Complete adze. Argillite. Mid grey. Cross-section is trapezoidal with front narrower than back. Surface is mostly ground, with some flaking on proper left of back and proper right side. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped, larger chip missing from proper left side of cutting edge. Kakanui Beach Otago written on front.
