Broken adze, butt remaining. Grey stone. Cross-section is oval. Surface is bruised and flaked. Sides are tapered towards the poll. Bevel and cutting edge are not present. "Kia" inscription.

Complete adze. Brown stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is bruised. No differentiation between butt and blade. There is no obvious bevel. Cutting edge is straight, blunt, and flaked. "Kaikorai Mth" inscription.
