Mahi whakairo
Complete unfinished adze. Green stone. Oval cross-section. The surface is flaked on both sides of the upper blade and bruised and ground on the lower blade. There is a slight reduction in the stone on the sides of the butt. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The bevel is convex. The cutting edge is curved and chipped.
Taoka Puoro
Complete flute. There are four perforations, three grouped together along the top of the flute, followed by a drill mark. The fourth perforation is at one end. There are striations in a chevron pattern across the surface
Complete unfinished adze. Grey/brown stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is flaked and bruised with ground areas on the blade. The front of the butt is bruised. The bevel is smooth and is demarcated by an irregular line of flake scars. The cutting edge is sharp and curved with a large chip on the proper right.
Complete unfinished adze. Black stone. Lenticular cross-section at the middle of the blade. The surface is flaked on the front and on the back of the butt, and ground and bruised on the back of the blade. There is a reduction in the stone on the sides of the butt. The bevel is demarcated by oblique ridges on either side. The bevel is concave. The cutting edge is curved and irregular.
Taoka Māori
Split rock blade, split on the left lateral margin. Dark purple and mid grey in colour. Bifacial retouch on the right lateral margin. Unifacial retouch on the dorsal surface of the left lateral margin.
Broken fishhook tab, large drill marks through surface.
