Complete adze. The cross section is rectangular. The surface is predominantly ground with some bruising on the back and sides of the butt. There is a rectangular piece of paper with writing adhered to the front. The butt is differentiated by a minor reduction of the side at the shoulder. There is an reduction of the butt from the poll towards the middle of the butt creating a flanged end at the poll. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and sharp. There is a chip to the cutting edge at the centre.
