Complete adze. Greenstone. Asymmetrical quadrangular cross-section at blade, oval at butt. The surface is mostly ground on the blade with flake scars. Bruising on the butt. There is major differentiation between the butt and the blade. The sides of the stone are reduced and taper in towards the poll. There are shoulders on both sides of the front of the blade. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved, sharp and has a large chip on the proper left side.
