Broken fishhook tab, large drill marks through surface.
Complete with no tau. Patu paraoa is in stable condition, however is severely weathered and cracked especially around the blade end. One side of the patu has two distinct and deep cut like markings on the blade portion. Perforation present at the handle, and appears to be drilled with an hour glass shape.
Complete, unfinished adze Trapezoidal with back narrower than front. The surface is ground (natural stone) The bevel is continuous with the butt. The cutting edge is sharp.
