Complete sinker with faint quartered lashing groove.

Broken adze (butt remaining). Stone. Dark grey. Cross-section is oval. Surface is bruised. Sides of butt taper towards poll. Wakatapu written on front.

Complete adze. Green stone. The cross-section is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. The surface is mostly smooth on the blade, with some flake scars. There is some bruising on each side of the blade, and extensive bruising around the butt. There is a distinction between the butt and the blade, with two shoulders on the front, a ridge, and a reduction in the stone at the bevel. The bevel is also coarsely bruised. The bevel is straight and demarcated by a polshed ridge. The cutting edge is sharp but chipped. "801 Southland" is written near the front cutting edge.

Complete adze. Black and mid grey stone. Surface is bruised with some grounding near the cutting edge. Cross-section is circular. Minor indentation around the circumference of the butt, particularly on the front and proper left side. Bevel is demarcated by a change in surface. Cutting edge is curved and sharp, with the blade tapered toward the edge. "Tokanui. Sth.ld." inscription on the front and back.

Complete adze. Mid green stone. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground and bruised. No differentiation between butt and blade, with sides tapered toward the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp but partially flaked. "Tokanui." inscription on the front and "Tokanui Sthld." inscription on the back.

Broken stone fishhook point, mostly complete, tip not present. Chipping around base.

There are several flake scars. The butt is differentiated from the blade by the difference in texture and a slight ridge on the front. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. There is a large piece broken off the proper left of the blade and cutting edge.

Roughout adze. Dark grey stone. The cross-section is rectangular. The surface is roughly flaked. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The overall shape is rectangular. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is unworked and blunt.

Complete adze Cross-section is oval. Surface of back and blade is ground. Front and sides are flaked. No differentiation between butt and blade. Bevel is continuous with blade. Blade is sharp and curved.

Complete adze. Greyish brown in colour. The cross-section is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. There is minor distinction between the butt and the blade, the butt is bruised and reduced at the sides. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is made blunt by a large flake scar.

Complete adze Cross-section is oval. Surface is mostly ground. Bruising on sides and areas of front and back. Flaking on proper left front side. No differentiation between butt and blade. Sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade. Blade is sharp and curved.

Complete adze. Brown stone. The surface is unworked on the front of the blade, and flaked and bruised on the back. The butt is bruised. There is minor differentiation between the butt and the blade, with rounded shoulders and a reduction in the stone at the sides of the butt. The bevel is not distinct and is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved with a few small chips. The back of the adze is slightly concave on the proper right.

Complete adze. Black stone. Oval cross-section. The surface is mostly flaked and bruised, with a small ground area on both sides of the lower blade. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The bevel is demarcated by its smooth surface and flaking on either side. The cutting edge is curved, irregular and chipped.

Curved complete fishhook point.

One piece fishhook fragment. Tip and base remain, missing the head, shank and knob. Serration at beginning of shank.

Complete tangiwai (bowenite) pendant. Adze shape. There is a white inclusion up the centre of the front. There is a white semi-circular inclusion on the proper left. There is a suspension hole at the proximal end, drilled from the front. There is minor differentiation of the butt and blade, with the sides tapering towards the proximal end. There is a bevel continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved and blunt.

Cast of patu onewa. Sides reduced where blade meets handle, forming a shoulder.
