Unfinished adze. Grey stone. Quadrangular cross-section. The surface is flaked and ground. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is straight and chipped.

Complete unfinished chisel. Green/grey stone. Triangular cross-section. The surface is flaked with a ground bevel. There is no distinction between the butt and the blade. The sides of the blade taper in from the poll towards the cutting edge. The bevel is smooth and continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is curved. "1115 Greenhills S." is writtten on the bevel.

Complete unfinished adze. Light grey/brown stone. Asymmetrical cross-section. The surface is flaked with ground areas on the lower blade. There is a reduction in the stone on both sides of the butt. The bevel is demarcated by irregular ridges. The cutting edge is slightly curved and chipped. Greenhills Southland. written on back.

Silcrete flake. There is some retouch around the lateral margins. Part b is a chisel, dark green argillite, finished and ground with secondary flaking and use-wear on blade. Possible source is Bluff-Greenhills (description by Russell Beck 18/08/2010)
