Broken adze (Butt remaining). Cross-section is oval. Surface is bruised. Minor differation between butt and blade, sides and front reduced to form a shoulder. Blade not present.

Complete adze Trapezoidal with back narrower than front. The surface is mostly ground with bruising on the back and sides of the butt. Sides taper towards poll, Shoulders are slightly raised. The bevel is demarcated by a small ridge. The cutting edge is sharp with a few chips.

Complete adze Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground, except for areas of natural roughness Undifferentiated between butt and blade, though sides taper towards poll Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved.

Complete adze. Pounamu. Mid green, mid grey, light grey, mid brown, cream. Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is mostly ground, with random bruising on back and sides, bruised on front of butt. Undifferentiated between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge is sharp and curved, slightly oblique. Chipped on proper left side. "Murdering Beach" written on back.

Complete adze. Cross-section is rectangular. The back side is ground, very small patches of natural roughness near the cutting edge on the PR side. Front side has large patches of natural roughness, mostly on the PL side. No differentiation between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Bevel is continuous with blade, blade is sharp and curved.

Complete pounamu adze. Light green and dark grey. Surface is ground smooth with some bruising on the butt. Tapered to the butt. Sawing mark along the proper right side. Bevel is demarcated by a line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp.

Piece of worked nephrite/pounamu, possibly a broken pendant. Mid green kahurangi variety with high translucency. Surface is ground smooth. Three projections remaining, two of which are broken at the ends and the other is rounded. Edges are curved and polished.

Complete adze. Stone. Black. Cross-section of butt is oval, cross-section of blade is rectangular. Surface of blade is ground, bruised on butt with some flaking. Minor differentiation between butt and blade, sides and front slightly reduced. Bevel is demarcated by a line, cutting edge is sharp and curved, lightly chipped. "Kakanui" written in pencil on bevel. "Kakanui" written on front.

Pounamu pendant. Light green inanga variety. Broken proximal end with drill mark on one side indicating an unfinished suspension hole. Distal end pointed.

Pounamu pendant. Mid-green kawakawa variety. Cross section is lenticular. Drill mark on one side of the proximal end indicates an unfinished suspension hole. Proximal edge is rounded and distal edge comes to a point.

Broken pounamu pendant, medial portion remaining. Dark green kawakawa variety. Square cross section with slightly rounded side edges. Surface is ground. Tapered at one end.

Broken pounamu pendant, distal portion remaining. Dark green and black kawakawa variety. Surface is ground. Sawing mark along one side edge. Distal edge is chipped and bruised.

Broken chisel. Pounamu. Dark green, light green. Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is mostly ground, though some sides are bruised. One side has sawing marks down it. Undifferentiated between butt and blade. Bevel and cutting edge not present. Tarewai Point written on side.

Complete adze. The cross section of the blade is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. The cross section of the butt is plano-convex with the back flattened. The surface is predominantly ground, with bruising along the sides of the butt. There is a significant fragment missing from the proper right side of the front, including the corner of the cutting edge. The butt is differentiated by the a change in cross section. The poll is flanged at the sides and rounded at the top. The bevel is continuous with the blade. The cutting edge is asymmetrically curved, with the proper left side of the blade longer than the right. The cutting edge is chipped and blunt.

Complete pounamu adze. Rectangular cross-section. Surface is ground. Differentiation between the butt and blade; sides are tapered towards the poll. Bevel is demarcated by a curved line. Cutting edge is curved and sharp but flaked. "Akatore Coast" inscription.

Incomplete adze. Blade remaining. The cross section of the blade is trapezoidal with back narrower than front. The surface is ground, with bruising and chipping on the front and down the sides. Butt not present. Undifferentiated bevel but sides start to taper before break. Sawing mark down proper left side.

Chert core that is mid brown and dark brown in colour. There is a large section of core across one of the faces.
