Broken adze (Butt remaining). Cross-section is oval. Surface is bruised. Minor differation between butt and blade, sides and front reduced to form a shoulder. Blade not present.

Complete adze Trapezoidal with back narrower than front. The surface is mostly ground with bruising on the back and sides of the butt. Sides taper towards poll, Shoulders are slightly raised. The bevel is demarcated by a small ridge. The cutting edge is sharp with a few chips.

Complete roughout Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is flaked. Unable to tell which end is butt or blade. Bevel not present, cutting edge not finished.

Broken adze (Blade remaining). Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is mostly ground. Flaked on sides. Butt not present. Bevel continuous with blade, blade is sharp and straight, chipped.

Broken adze (Portion of butt remaining). Cross-section is rectangular. Surface is ground on the front and right side, flaked on left side and back. No differentiation between butt and blade, sides taper towards poll. Blade not present.

Broken adze. (Blade remaining) Cross-section is oval. Surface is mostly ground, rough area on the back where it was broken. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade, blade is sharp and curved, chipped.

Broken adze (Part of blade remaining). Cross-section is asymmetrical. Surface is ground on the blade, proper right side is bruised. Roughness on back and proper left side where it was broken. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade, blade is blunt and curved.

Broken adze (Portion of blade remaining). Cross-section is oval. Surface is mostly flaked, ground on blade. Butt not present. Bevel is continuous with blade, cutting edge not present.

Incomplete adze - blade extant. Oval Bruised and flaked. Butt not present. Bevel demarcated by faint curved line running from corner to corner. Cutting edge is sharp, rough and rounded.

Broken adze, bevel end remaining. The cross section is trapezoidal with the back narrower than the front. The surface is ground with some chipping on the proper left side. The butt is absent. The bevel is demarcated by a line at the back and a ridge at the sides. The cutting edge is asymmetrically curved with the proper left side of the blade shorter than the right. The edge is sharp.
