Neolithic figurines statuettes, mostly of women were placed in tombs to provide the owner with a companion in the afterlife. The dead who were buried in a sleeping position with elbows and knees drawn together were also supplied with pottery food containers, jewellery and other goods thought to be useful in the afterlife.

Complete necklace with hei tiki pendant. Pendant is made from red resin with paua shell eyes. Attached at the proper left side to a cord woven from red and silver plastic ties, with a loop at one end and a button at the other. Hei tiki head is tilted to the proper right side with a forehead ridge, deep-set eyes, defined nose, and mouth with tongue protruding. Perforations at neck, arms, and legs. Proper left hand is resting on stomach and proper right hand is resting on right thigh. Feet and toes come together at the base, touching carved genitalia.

Complete string of 12 glass trade beads. They are of varying size, but all small. They are strung on a straight piece of muka, tied at both ends.

Plaster cast of broken minnow shank with the head remaining. The cross section is triangular. It has a perforation through the peak of the head and one notch on either side of the head, in line with the perforation. It is coloured red.
