Complete straight fishhook point. Internal barb at point, external notches at base.
Complete needle. Distal end is sharp. Thickness reduced at the proximal end. Drilled, circular eye at the proximal end. An old, broken eye at the very end.
Broken needle, proximal end and shaft remaining. Drilled, circular eye at the proximal end. An old, broken eye at the very proximal end. Needle is attached to a velvet covered board by two small lengths of twine.
Whakarite kai
Complete wooden hoe (paddle). Surface is worked smooth. Handle has a circular cross section with a knob at the proximal end. Blade is flat on the back and convex on the top. Blade is diamond-shaped, flaring in the centre and coming to a point at the distal edge.
Rākau o te riri
Complete huata or tao (spear). Long wooden rod. Circular in cross section. Surface is worked smooth. One end has double-sided, opposing faces carved with a rauponga (groove and notch) pattern. Other end comes to a point.

He kura
Complete one-piece fishhook pendant with incurved tip. External edge from tip of point to 1cm below head serrated. Head has a diagonal groove across shank with v projection and external platform like projection with groove around base. Lower rim platform serrated. Suspension hole at head, drilled from both sides.
Complete kotiate paraoa. It has a 'D' shaped chipped out perforation at the head with a leather tau. It has whakairo on the butt in the shape of a head. It is in good condition with no usewear.
Broken one-piece fishhook, shank remaining. Knobs on internal and external side of head. Broken at base.
Broken curved fishhook point, lower remaining. Burnt. Was previously broken near upper edge, now fixed.
Fishhook point is complete and curved. There is one internal barb near the tip. There are five external notches and one wide internal notch near the base.
Fishhook point is incomplete; tip is missing. The fishhook point fragment is curved.
Rāranga
Complete kahu huruhuru with kereru feather, flax fibre and wool. Manufactured with whatu aho rua technique (two-pair weft-twining). The first and the last whenu along the left and right edges are pink and blue wool thread twisted together. Kereru feather attached singly (a aho/2) in green and white vertical stripes. The kurupatu (fringe collar) is made with white feather. There are no ties. There is a small area of repair along the top at one edge.
Broken, curved shank with the base missing. There is an obvious angle change between the shank and head, the shank is curved while the head is straight, and an interior knob at this point. There are also two knobs, one interior and one exterior, at the top of the head.
Small flax kete with twisted handle. Woven in a twill pattern from unscraped flax with no additional decoration. Natural mid-yellow colour. No base seam; cast off by folding to internal side and inserting through other flax strands.
