Complete toggle. There are two perforations, one wider than the other. Both ends are notched around the edges.
Broken toggle, one end remaining. One side is decorated with darkened striations in a cross-hatched pattern. Inside of the bone is packed with dirt.
Broken bone point, distal end remaining.
Seal tooth, which has been filed smooth at the base of the root.
A: Straight piece of worked bone, use unknown. Square cross section and rectangular shape. Four notches on one edge and seven notches on another edge. Incised "X" in the centre on one side. B: Broken fishhook shank, head portion remaining. Knob on head. Sawing mark on distal end.
Taoka whakarākei
Mostly complete bone pendant, small part of distal end broken off. Proximal end is squared off, with a suspension hole drilled from each side. There is a kink carved about halfway down the pendant. Surface is polished.
Complete barracouta lure, no lashing remaining. Wooden shank with nail forming the point. Nail is curved and rusted, coming to a sharp point. The shank is complete, with a lashing groove at the head.
Broken one-piece fishhook, shank remaining. Knobs at head.
Mahi whakairo
Complete wooden adze haft. Large crack on handle. Knob at the butt of the handle. Platform for attachment of adze previously had raised sides, now broken off and flat.
Unfinished bone bird spear point. Base with two unfinished barbs remaining.
Complete bone point, manufactured from hollow bone. Pointed at both ends, but one end is chipped.
Complete ivory pendant. Slightly curved to a point at the distal end. Suspension hole and small notches at proximal end. Small piece broken off and glued back on at proximal end.
Animal tusk pendant. Complete but surface is worn.
Broken bone pendant, slightly curved and broken at each end.
Complete tattoo chisel, of comb variety. Hafting end of chisel is carved into a complex four-knob shape, two on either side. The cutting edge has two remaining teeth that are very sharp, and one tooth that has broken off.
Broken one-piece fishhook, shank remaining. Knob at head.
Mostly complete shark tooth pendant with broken suspension hole and red sealing wax at the root.
Broken curved fishhook point, lower portion remaining. Tip broken off.
